Starkishia: Estrella, a memoir by Starkishia was published May 18, 2014, and Southern Jewel: The Elements Within, adult poetry by Ty A. Patterson was released August 15, 2014. Social Justice and Christianity by Rev. Louis Hathorn is forthcoming, and a crime thriller is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2015 by Anthony Ellis.

The cover letter should include contact information, brief overview of work including genre, number of chapters, poems, or short stories, manuscript page count, prospective completion time frame, publishing goals, professional writing background…
BOOK PROPOSAL DETAILS:
Please provide a 1 1/2 page cover letter, a 1-3 page book synopsis, a 500 – 750 word author biography, a one paragraph outline or overview of each chapter, a list of similar or competing titles, a marketing plan or chart, a résumé or vita, and sample writings (two chapters…).
What is a book proposal?
The book proposal is a 8 to 30 (or so) page manuscript that a writer uses to pitch a nonfiction book to publishers. It should build a complete argument for the book idea. Chiefly, a good proposal will cover:
- what the book is about,
- why you’re the perfect person to write this book,
- who will buy the book, and
- how you are going to convey the message.
